Shakespeare on the Wall: Art Exhibit Opening Reception

Last Friday, August 23rd, we celebrated the inaugural art exhibit opening for A Gallery Somewhere. The exhibit was just one of the events planned as part of the inaugural Santa Fe Summer Shakespeare festival in June, July and August.

Seventeen artists exhibited 58 works of art based upon Shakespeare themes. The visual variety and creativity provided an art experience that was inspiring and entertaining, including a dazzling hologram by hologram pioneer Fred Unterseher, large abstract pieces by Holly Grimm and Greta Young, a collage by Bernadette Freeman, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) manipulated print by Karl Whitaker, beautiful classical oil paintings by Zienna Stewart, digital/encaustic art by Richard Nicholas, serigraphs by Pete McCracken (noted artist from Portland, Oregon) and more.
