A unique Shakespeare-themed Art Exhibit!

Next Friday, August 23rd, 5–7 P.M., A Gallery Somewhere is having its first-ever artists’ opening reception.

For the Shakespeare on the Wall exhibit, a dozen artists were given the challenge of submitting art that in some way relates to the works attributed to the man known as William Shakespeare. You can expect an eclectic and entertaining collection of interpretations of this Shakespearean theme.

The reception ends at 7 P.M., leaving just enough time to go a block or two down the street to The Swan Theater (1213-B Parkway Drive) to attend the International Shakespeare Center’s opening night performance of Measure for Measure.

What a night! Art, theater, Shakespeare (including abuse of power and sexual harassment, treachery, betrayal, deceit, blackmail, moral conundrums, horrible people, great people on both sides, and other typical current events stuff).

As you can see below, it’s going to be an awesome show!
